Beauty Box 5

I want to start off this first blog by welcoming all of you to Beauty Box 5! I am so excited to be your new BB5 Product Expert & Blogger and I look forward to sharing with you my knowledge and love of all things beauty. To give you an idea of what’s in store, here is a little bit about me and what you can expect from my blog. I have been in the beauty industry since 1999 and a professional makeup artist since 2006. I have managed stores and run counters for Sephora, Aveda and Nordstrom, traveled the US training for Boscia, Sugar, Urban Decay and Mirabella, and freelanced for Smashbox, Lorac and Tarte, just to mention a few. I have grown my personal artistry business through involvement in the Austin, Texas music scene and events like the SXSW and Austin City Limits music festivals. I adore working with brides, teaching makeup application and absolutely LOVE prom season! I am also a total fashion aficionado and work on the runway whenever possible. I’m addicted to trying new products and nothing is better than having them arrive on my doorstep in that beautiful blue sample-studded box from BB5. Samples RULE! I mean, what’s cuter than the mini version of that new lip gloss you keep hearing about? Aren’t fragrance samples the best purse-pals ever? With all the products out now, you absolutely HAVE to try before you buy! So if you’re a product devotee like me, there is no better way to find your fabulous than Beauty Box 5! So what does all this mean to you? Well, BB5 has asked me to keep you up-to-date on the latest and greatest in beauty as well as the tremendous fun I have as a professional makeup artist and educator. You can expect weekly posts on everything from the latest-and-greatest in beauty, to how I use the BB5 products in my personal life and business and even backstage shots and stories from my events and trainings across the globe.
