As I am sure most of you have noticed, Beauty Box 5 LOVES natural ingredients! Brands like Weleda, Priti NYC and Lavera are just a few of faves from past boxes and we’re so excited to be introducing you to a whole new set of these natural nurturers in June’s Beauty Box 5!
Blûm Naturals (pronounced [bloom]), developed by Jean Pierre Cosmetics, began with the goal of developing a natural, organic facial cleanser for women. Their products are developed and produced primarily in Israel and the United States, using natural, energy efficient and environmentally conscious methods. Their products are made with certified natural organic ingredients, are alcohol free, hypoallergenic and PH balanced. They also package Blûm in recyclable containers, made whenever possible from recycled materials and they NEVER test on animals. Today Blûm Naturals has a wide array of cleansers and wipes to complement their full line of skincare products that includes facial creams, exfoliating pads, eye makeup remover and even oil absorbing facial tissues.
The best thing about Blûm however is what’s inside these fabulous products! One of my favorite things about the brand is the limited number of ingredients they use in each product. The fewer the better in my opinion…no one wants a bunch of stuff on their skin they can’t pronounce! The Blûm Moisturizing Day Cream for example, contains mostly sunflower and palm oils and shea butter. Sunflower oil contains a large amount of vitamin E which softens and protects the skin where palm oil acts as a hydrator. Shea Butter, which you’ll remember is in the Tree Hut Body Butter from May’s Beauty Box 5, heals, soothes and protects the skin. On top of all that, each of these ingredients are either plant, sugar or naturally derived! Not to mention, there are no synthetic preservatives, no fragrances and no parabens! While all of the Blûm products are great for any skin type, they are especially good for those with sensitive skin or allergy issues.
