Beauty Box 5

I don’t like lip liners. They never match closely enough with the lip color I want to wear or they dry out too quickly on my lips…and let’s face it, nothing looks worse than that crusty lip liner ring around your mouth mid way through the night! I’ve always thought lip liners were just a waste of beeswax and money…until now. Model Co. Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner has completely changed my makeup routine and I know it can do the same for yours! Oh…and it’s the 1st Beauty Box 5 April spoiler!

So here’s the skinny on why this great little lip liner made the cut and is now a permanent staple in my makeup bag.

1. TEXTURE & STAYING POWER

The texture of this liner is absolutely amazing, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever tried before! It’s super smooth and soft so it glides on easily and once it’s on it actually feels like it’s part of my lips. Most lip liners just feel like you put on a really dry matte lipstick and they tend to bleed into whatever lip product you’re wearing. Not this baby, it’s like a soft, moisturizing sealant for my lips and it doesn’t bleed at all!! Lip Illusion also wears really evenly so worrying about that crusty lip liner ring is a thing of the past!

2. COLOR

Nude…no, really…it’s honestly nude! Why is this awesome you ask? Because most of us have rather pink lips and regardless of the lip product we wear, it tends to turn pink. Because Lip Illusion has such great texture and staying power and because it’s truly nude, it prevents this change from happening. What this means for people like me and you is that we can wear more of the spring and summer coral shades that are so popular right now without worrying about them turning pink and our faces looking unbalanced. (Keeping your cheeks and your lips in the same family of colors makes your face look more balanced.)

3. CONVENIENCE

Lip Illusion is short enough to fit easily into my makeup bag and the sharpener is built into the lid. Need I say more?
