NYFW 101: How to get ready for a fashion show in under a minute. #MNYfw #hyperlapse

As a self-confessed shedder, cleaning my brushes has always been a frequent, unpleasant chore, especially when I had long hair. I didn’t like pulling out my dead strands because the texture was dry and gross, and because I couldn’t never get my brush completely clean.
Gross brushes, meet my new friend, the Sam Villa Brush Cleaner.
When I first saw the product, I thought it looked more like a futuristic weapon and was puzzled about the correct way to use it, but I quickly came around.
This tool has different bristles on each end. One side has long, rough bristles for sweeping away gunk and styling product, and the other has short, comb-like teeth that are great for digging into the base of your brush and easily pulling away mass amounts of tangled hair.
After a few quick, painless sweeps, my brush looked great and I didn’t have the willies. Success!
Sadly, right after I got this product, I decided to chop off all of my hair. Poor timing on my part, but I did put this in my little sister’s stocking for Christmas (girl has crazy hair), and can rest easy knowing it’s in a better place.
Sending good hair vibes,
Alexa
