Although I’m still an oil girl at heart, this Detoxifying Body Butter from Amala is just the thing to pamper my skin during the dry and cold months.
Made with myrtle, fig, and olive oil, this body butter is seriously the best winter-time lotion I’ve ever used. The creamy, thick, non-greasy formula softened my rough patches, made my skin smell like myrtle (a criminally underrated scent), and was a delightful way to start my morning.
I was able to do my whole body with just one packet and I immediately started worrying about when I could fit a full-size of this into my budget.
Founded by Ute Leube, Amala is dedicated to using nature to help heal and beautify skin. Essentially, they find and use organic plants and custom distill them to create fabulous, pure, and environmentally responsible products that work really, really well.
The bottom line: I’m super bummed that not all of our subscribers were able to receive this body butter (although they did get other nice goodies!), because this was probably my favorite product from the February box. I know some folks were not over the moon about getting two foil packets, but the product is just too good to scoff at, friends! Not only does it smell amazing, but the lotion just feels luxurious.
