Dude, it’s chilly out there.
And while I don’t necessarily dislike cold weather (okay, that’s not true, but I am originally from the north), I REALLY don’t like what the cold does to my skin. Dry fingers are not the most attractive, and if it gets really bad out, my skin can crack— gross AND painful.
Luckily, I have a collection of lotions that work really well, and I just added h2o to my list. The Spa Hand and Nail Cream we featured this month is lightweight but powerful, so it absorbs into my skin right away— my hands never feel greasy or have that weird sheen that some intense creams leave.
Made with shea butter, silk proteins, and a whole bunch of nifty marine ingredients like wakame and sea lettuce, this little guy is the key to keeping my fingers (and cuticles!) presentable. This is something I store in my purse, but it’s also a great product to slather on at night, so I wake up with nice, moisturized skin.
I do have to admit that the first time I used this lotion I was a little surprised that it had a strong scent (I can’t quite put my finger on what it is), but the quality won me over right away. I’m totally going to snatch up the unscented version.
BB5 Tip: Are you a serious hand washer? Use this right after you give yourself a good clean to prevent your hands from drying out.
