Ever wondered how celebrities get a perfectly precise pout?

The secret isn’t an expensive lipstick or even a fancy lip brush– it’s lip liner! An often over looked looked tool, this little stick can mean the difference between a photo-perfect lip and a smeared smile. And we’ve all been there. 

I was excited for us to feature Bonne Bell this month for a ton of reasons: the pretty colors, compact size, smooth application, and durability. And, of course, the price.

I love a good steal, and because these little guys are so cheap I can stock up on several in one trip without breaking the bank 

Think of a liner as a primer– it’s not something you have to use, but it makes is big difference in terms of lasting color. Outline your lips then fill them in completely before you apply lipstick or gloss and your pretty pucker will stay pristine. 

BB5 tip: Finding the right color is key.

Wanna know a secret? You don’t need to match the color of your lipstick. In fact, that’s almost impossible, especially if your lip color doesn’t come with a matching liner. Regardless of what shade you want to rock, your best bet is to find a liner that matches your lip color or is a shade lighter.
