A red lipstick- we used the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square- to give you sassy red smackers and then applied onto a brush and blended onto the apples of your cheeks for a rosy-red accent!
A red polish to add a pop of color to your hands when you show off those muscles, like Nicka K New York’s Red Hot.
A bold black cat-eye to finish the look. Our favorite to last through your Halloween night (and longer!) is Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Jet Black. Think vintage and wing it out!

Summer is the perfect excuse to streamline your beauty routine, so swap out foundation and sultry shadows for a cute cat eye, glam shades, and a bright lip for an effortless sunny look!
BEAUTY TOOLS
- A nude lip liner– we used Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner.
- A bright and cheerful lipstick– we used Nicka K New York Hydro Lipstick in “Daring” because red lips are classic, uber feminine, and chic in any season.
STEPS
- After wiping off any lip balm, outline your lips by firmly rubbing the pencil in a back and forth motion around your cupid’s bow (the dip at center of your top lip), and slowly make your way around.
- Fill in your lips entirely– it will make the lipstick easier to apply and last longer.
- Swipe on color, blot, and repeat!
P.S. The key to a perfectly lacquered lip is a good canvas! Always exfoliate and moisturize before applying lipstick– gently scrub lips with a tooth brush, apply lip balm, and give it a few minutes to soak in!
