What is Beauty Box 5 & how does this whole subscription thing work?

Sign up for a subscription with us and we’ll deliver a surprising mix of 5 pretty cosmetic samples and full-sizes in an adorable box straight to your mailbox monthly.

What’s inside the monthly BB5 box?

Every month we'll send you a mix of beauty products we can't get enough of, ranging from makeup, haircare and skincare to nail polishes, fragrances, and beauty tools, too!

We truly believe that it takes a little bit of everything to look so good, which is why we include luxury, drugstore, and indie brands alike! You’ll see much-loved standbys from bigger brands and new omg-this-is-amazing finds from smaller brands, too.

No problem! You have until the 21st of the month to sign up for it!

What’s the difference between monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscriptions?

The only difference is the price per box! All BB5 Babes receive the same gorgeous boxes and pretty products, regardless of subscription type.

  • Monthly Subscription: you are billed $12 every month.
  • Quarterly Subscription: you are billed $30 every 3 months. ($6 savings!)
  • Yearly Subscription: you are billed $99 every 12 months. ($45 savings!)

Note: all subscriptions are automatically recurring and can be canceled at any time.

Can I gift BB5?

You most certainly can!

We offer gift subscriptions in increments of 3, 6, or 12 beauty boxes. Gift subscriptions are a one-time purchase and the gift recipient will receive a box on a monthly basis.

Note: unlike the monthly subscription, a gift subscription will NOT automatically renew and will not rebill after the recipient receives their last box.

Are BB5 boxes able to be customized? Does everyone get the same box?

BB5 Boxes are not 100% customized and every month we have a slight variation of colors, shades, or products sent out.

When you create an account with us, we offer a beauty profile for you to fill out so we can get to know your preferences. While we use the beauty profile as a guide for our products as a whole, we are unable to customize boxes on an individual basis at this time.

We strive to feature products that don't require specific hair types and skin tones- and we love to hear from you! You can help us pick what brands and products we decide to feature at large by providing feedback-- fill out the beauty survey in your account portal, chime in on our various social media accounts, and give us feedback at This email address is being protected from spambots. What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?

If you’re unsure about a product, start a conversation with us! We are more than happy to check ingredients for you and get in touch with the brand to help out.

We always recommend that subscribers read the ingredients listed on their samples before trying them, and also encourage spot-checking by dabbing a little bit of product on your hand before using it on a larger area.

OMG! I loved the samples in my box! Where can I buy the full-size versions?

Success! We hoped you would-- just head on over to our online shop to find the full-sizes featured in your box and other awesome products by BB5-fave brands.

If we don’t carry the product you crave in our shop or we’re sold out, reach out to us and we can direct you to the brand to shop your new must-haves!

Shipping

I live in ________. Can I get BB5?

We currently ship to the lower 48 United States and Canada. At this time we are unable to ship to AK, HI, APO, and overseas. One day!

When & how does my beauty box ship?

BB5 boxes ship out of Houston, Texas through our friends at the United States Postal Service. We send you a shipping confirmation email every month to let you know when it’s coming, too!

If you signed up between the 1st and 21st of the month, your first box should arrive within 8 business days of ordering, and then ship out on the 8th of each consecutive month.

If you signed up between the 22nd and the last day of the month, your box will ship on the 8th of the following month, and the 8th of each consecutive month.

Canadian boxes are shipped via USPS to the Canada Post and should arrive within 2-3 weeks of ordering.

How much is shipping?

United States: All U.S. subscriptions ship free!

Canada: Although we love our northern Canadian ladies just as much, we have to charge $3 per box to help us cover shipping costs outside of the United States. (Blame it on that pesky Post Office!) Please note that shipping costs for any Canadian gift orders are charged at the end of the gift term.

How do I track my box?

US subscribers will get a shipping confirmation email delivered on the 8th every month with a personal tracking number that can be entered HERE.

Unfortunately, Canadian shipments cannot be tracked, but are still sent a shipping confirmation email so that you know your box is en route!

HELP! I never got a shipping confirmation/tracking email!

Let us know as soon as possible, babe! No email could mean that your payment was delayed, therefore delaying your box, or we might have the wrong email on file. Either way, the faster you let us know, the faster we can resolve it and find out where your beauty box is in transit!

HELP! I need to change my billing or shipping info!

No problem! You can update your information through your account portal. If you haven't set up your account, just start a conversation with our Customer Service team at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we can update your information and send you the link to create your account at the same time.

HELP! My box was marked as delivered but I don’t have it!

Oh no! We hate that! Unfortunately, once boxes have been shipped out of our Houston warehouse to the USPS, their final arrival is out of our control. We recommend you contact your local post office ASAP to get more information.

HELP! My box arrived damaged or is missing!

Noooo! Damaged or lost beauty is a true crime, but we got you, girl. If something arrived less-than-perfect* or didn’t arrive at all, start a conversation with our Customer Service team! We can issue a replacement if necessary and look into any possible shipping delays.

*Note: When an item is damaged, please attach a photo if possible to your email so we can share it with our Shipping Department and the brand to ensure it never arrives that way again for you or any other BB5 babes in the future!

Payment and Cancellation

When will I be billed?

ALL subscriptions automatically renew and will rebill on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, depending on the type you selected.

Monthly Subscription

  • If you signed up between the 1-21st of the month: you will be charged $12 immediately, then charged $12 on the 1st of the next month and the 1st of all consecutive months after.
  • If you signed up between the 22nd and the last day of the month: you will be charged $12 immediately, then charged $12 on the same day the next month, and the same day of all consecutive months after.

Quarterly Subscription

  • If you signed up between the 1-21st of the month: you will be charged $30 immediately, then charged $30 on the 1st of your ‘4th’ month.
    Ex: If you sign up on October 14th, you will receive October, November, and December boxes and then will be billed $30 again on January 1.
  • If you signed up between the 22nd and the last day of the month: you will be charged $30 immediately, then charged $30 on the same day of your ‘4th’ month.
    Ex: If you sign up on October 25th, you will receive November, December, and January boxes and then will be billed $30 again on January 25th.

Yearly Subscription

  • If you signed up between the 1-21st of the month: you will be charged $99 immediately, then charged $99 on the 1st of your ‘12th’ month.
    Ex: If you sign up on October 14th, you will receive October-the next year’s September boxes and then will be billed $99 on the next year’s October 1st.
  • If you signed up between the 22nd and the last day of the month: you will be charged $99 immediately, then charged $99 on the same day of your ‘12th’ month.
    Ex: If you sign up on October 25th, you will receive November-the next year’s October boxes and then will be billed $99 on the next year’s October 25th.

Gift Subscription

When you purchase a gift subscription you will only be billed one time, in full, for the amount of boxes you gift (3, 6 or 12). A gift subscription will NOT automatically renew after your recipient receives their last box.

Do you charge sales tax?

Only to our fellow Texans, and only because, legally, we have to!

Can I return my box and receive a refund?

Due to health and safety regulations, we do not process returns or refunds on beauty boxes. If any products in your box arrived damaged or missing, we are more than happy to send a replacement to you, free of charge- just contact our Customer Service team!

What is your cancellation policy?

BB5 Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but you will still receive ALL boxes you prepaid for prior to requesting cancellation.

After we have shipped all pre-paid boxes (i.e. your monthly box if you have already been charged for that month or any remaining boxes in your quarterly or yearly subscription term), you will not receive a new beauty box.

How do I cancel my BB5 subscription?

Note: Cancellations need to be requested before your next billing date in order to avoid being charged. However, if you have sent in a request for your account to be cancelled before your next billing date and are charged before we have processed your cancellation- no worries! That’s on us and you will be issued a refund for that charge.

I cancelled my account, so why was I charged?

Oh no! This usually occurs for 2 reasons:

  1. Your cancellation did not take place before your next billing date.

    You must request cancellation before your next billing date in order to avoid being charged for your next box! If you have emailed in a cancellation request before your next billing date and you are charged before the cancellation is processed- no worries! That’s on us, and you will be issued a refund for that charge.

    If you have purchased a quarterly or yearly subscription, you can cancel your account at any time, and you will not be billed again in 3 months or 12 months, respectively. However, please note that you will still receive all boxes you prepaid for prior to cancellation, but your account will not renew once your subscription term ends.

  2. You clicked ‘Unsubscribe’ in an email to cancel your account.

I cancelled my account, so why am I still receiving boxes?

If you have purchased a quarterly or yearly subscription, you can cancel your account at any time, but you will still receive all boxes you prepaid for prior to requesting cancellation.

I cancelled my account, so why can I still log into my Account Portal?

No need to worry! You technically still have an account with us and can log in to review your account details, but your subscription has been cancelled.

If at any time you would like to start receiving monthly beauty boxes again, just contact our Customer Service via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we can reactivate your subscription- no need to sign up again, babe!

I cancelled my account in the past, but I’d like to come back! Do I need to enter all my info again?

No way, babe! If at any time you’d like to start receiving beauty boxes again after canceling, you can skip the signup process! Just contact our Customer Service via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we can reactivate your subscription.

SOS! I need to change my billing or shipping address!

No problem! If need to update your shipping or billing address information, you can do so by contacting us, or using your account portal to update it yourself.

All address changes must be done prior to the end of the current month in order for your next month’s box to be sent to your new address.

If you update your address after your box has already shipped, we will have to charge you $3 to ship a replacement.

Login Issues

Help! I can’t log in, the system says I don’t exist, or I need to change my password!

Coupon Redemption & Promotions

Wait! You just started a new promo or discount code, but I already subscribed!

Oh, man! We feel your pain, but we are unable to extend promotion deadlines or offer first-time coupon codes to existing subscribers.

I have 2 coupon codes or offers: can I redeem both?

Unfortunately, only one offer or code can be redeemed per subscription or shop purchase.

How do I redeem my coupon code?

Just enter your code during the checkout process under "Coupon Code."
